                 Request For Information and Photographs

We are seeking any information and photographs you may provide regarding

Second Lieutenant Emmett Martin of Bronx, New York who graduated with

Bombardier class B445 in October 1944, Randolph AFB, Texas; and his brother

Album Martin who left the Air Force when the war ended.   We are not certain

as to whether or not Album was ever commissioned.  Their birthplace was

Grindstone, Pennsylvania.

index.24We propose to share this information with film-maker Darnell Martin

his daughter.  We have learned through our inquiries to the Tuskegee Airmen

website and organization that their listing only includes those young men

who were trained as pilots such as Augustus Martin also from Bronx, New

York.

Also, any information regarding the psychological and intelligence testing

procedures applicable to such young men as Emmett would be very helpful in

describing their level of achievement

Respectfully,

Mary Lee Brady, PhD

President
