John Brady [62nd Generation] was indeed born, not made of half slave and half free in eyes of the prevailing laws.  And, of course, he fathered and helped generate Brady Patriots in the great cause of personal liberty for "the least of us."

We cite this fact because his grandsons born in the [65th Generation] to be scholarly in religion and law believe it to be true:  their grandfather was a Christian soldier in the march to personal liberty and them.

John Brady was the grand-father of below Lindell, Wilma, Paul and Mary Rose Brady.  We do not know the names and locations of their grand uncles and aunts, other than fact that one was named Mollie.

                                                The Brady Bunch

We speculate that John Brady was likely born after ending of the Civil War, and at a young age married and fathered children beginning around 1883.  African-Americans in U.S. Colored Troops with the surname of Brady were possibly related to those born after the Civil War.  Their stories are caught up in the tens of thousands of other stories about the journeys up from slavery that are somewhat summarized in below link.
